All orders are processed during our business hours: Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (EST). Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

  • Standard processing time is 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
  • Processing time may vary depending on part availability, inspection, and packaging.
  • You will receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your item has shipped.

2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

We use reliable national carriers to ensure safe and timely delivery of your order. The estimated delivery times may vary depending on your location and the nature of the item.

  • Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days
  • Expedited Shipping: 1–3 business days (additional charges may apply)
  • Freight Shipping: Used for large items like engines and transmissions; 5–10 business days

Note: Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to weather conditions, carrier issues, or high demand.

3. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated based on the weight, size, and destination of your order. Charges will be displayed during checkout before payment.

  • Local and regional orders may be eligible for discounted shipping.
  • Some large or heavy items (e.g., engines, transmissions) may incur additional freight costs.

4. Freight Shipments – Large Auto Parts

For oversized items like engines and transmissions, we ship via LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight. Please ensure the following before delivery:

  • Provide a valid commercial or residential delivery address.
  • Ensure someone is present at the time of delivery to inspect and receive the item.
  • Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately.
  • Liftgate service is available upon request at an extra cost.

5. Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email containing the tracking number and carrier details. You can track your shipment on the carrier’s website for real-time updates.

6. Shipping Restrictions

At this time, we ship only within the contiguous United States. We do not offer shipping to:

  • Alaska or Hawaii
  • U.S. Territories (e.g., Puerto Rico, Guam)
  • PO Boxes or APO/FPO military addresses

7. Damaged or Lost Shipments

We take every precaution to package your item securely, but damage or loss can sometimes occur in transit. Please follow the steps below if your item arrives damaged or is missing:

  1. Inspect the package upon delivery and take clear photos of any visible damage.
  2. Note the damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt.
  3. Contact our support team within 48 hours at info@richmondpartsdepot.com.
  4. We will initiate a claim with the carrier and offer a resolution as quickly as possible.

Missing or lost packages must be reported within 7 days of the estimated delivery date.
