1. Warranty Coverage
The standard warranty offered by Richmond Parts Depot LLC is designed to cover defects in materials or workmanship for a specified period after the date of purchase.
- Coverage Period: 30 days from the date of delivery unless otherwise stated.
- Eligible Products: Engines, transmissions, and selected major mechanical components.
- What’s Covered: Internal part failure, manufacturer defects, and breakdowns under normal operating conditions.
- Resolution: At our discretion, we may replace the defective part or issue a refund for the purchase price (excluding shipping).
2. Engine & Transmission Warranty Conditions
For engines and transmissions to be covered under warranty, the following conditions must be met at the time of installation:
- Installation must be completed by a certified automotive technician.
- Proof of the use of new oil, oil filters, spark plugs, thermostats, belts, gaskets, and seals during installation must be provided.
- Cooling system must be flushed and checked for proper operation before the engine is started.
- Transmission fluids must be replaced with manufacturer-recommended fluids only.
- All sensors and external accessories must be transferred from the original unit.
Important: Failure to comply with these installation procedures may void the warranty.
3. What is Not Covered
The following scenarios and items are excluded from warranty coverage:
- Improper installation, misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications
- Damage caused by overheating, lack of lubrication, or fluid contamination
- External parts and accessories such as sensors, hoses, manifolds, or switches
- Labor costs, towing, diagnostic testing, rental cars, or other incidental expenses
- Failure due to accidents, racing, off-road use, or commercial use without prior approval
4. How to File a Warranty Claim
To initiate a warranty claim, please follow the steps below:

5. Return Shipping & Restocking
If the warranty claim is approved, we may cover the cost of return shipping. However, if the claim is denied or if the part is returned for reasons other than a defect, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. A restocking fee of up to 20% may be applied in such cases.
6. Limitations of Liability
Richmond Parts Depot LLC’s liability is strictly limited to the original purchase price of the product. We are not liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to vehicle downtime, loss of income, or inconvenience caused by part failure or delay in resolution.
